Middle Corridor participated at the logistics exhibition in Chengdu

November 28-30, 2018, in Chengdu (China), the International Association “Trans-Caspian International Transport Route” took part in the international exhibition “Chengdu International Supply Chain and Smart Logistics Expo 2018”.

Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor) was presented with its stand, where representatives of the TITR Association together with its members – Ukrzaliznytsia JSC (Ukraine), PKP LHS (Poland), held a series of business meetings and negotiations with Chinese and international logistics companies.

On the first day of the exhibition, November 28, 2018, the forum “Belt and Road Initiative and Sino – EU Multi Modal Trans Summit” was held, where Saut Shynybayev, Deputy Secretary General of the TITR Association acted as a speaker and presented current infrastructural facilities of TITR (Middle Corridor) as well as future plans for its development, notably in the direction China – Europe – China.

On November 29, 2018, representatives of the TITR Association participated at the working meeting “Chengdu – Poland’s Euroterminal Slawkow Broad Gauge direct Block-train and the container sea-rail combined transport”, organized together by China Communications and Transportation Association International Coordination and Service Center for Land Bridge Block – Train Programs and the Chengdu International railway trains co., LTD. The objective of the meeting was to discuss the launch of pilot block trains from Chengdu (China) to Slawkow (Poland). Participants of the meeting were representatives from KTZ – Freight Transportation JSC, PKP LHS, Ukrzaliznytsia JSC, Shanghai Railway Limited foreign multimodal transport co., LTD, Medilink International Logistics co., Train network technology co. LTD and others companies. During the meeting the terms of the future shipments, tariff rates and cargo delivery time were agreed.
